Tell us when suits, we'll do the rest

Send us a few details and we'll call you back the same day to confirm a time. New patients get a longer first appointment so there's no rushing, and we can talk through anything that's worrying you.

Or just call Marlow on 01628 555 210
Are you a new patient?

We'll call to confirm. Nothing is booked until we've spoken.

Looking after the whole family

Check-ups & hygiene

A proper look, a clean, and an honest word about anything worth keeping an eye on. Most people we see come every six months.

Cosmetic & whitening

Whitening, bonding, veneers. We'll show you what's realistic for your teeth before you commit to anything.

Nervous patients

If the dentist isn't your favourite place, tell us. We go slowly, explain everything, and never make you feel daft for it.

What Marlow patients say

“I'd put off going to a dentist for about six years. They were so kind about it I actually booked the next appointment before I left.”

Hannah M. · Marlow|March 2026

“Took both kids in and they came out asking when they could go back. Never thought I'd write that sentence.”

Tom R. · Bourne End|February 2026

“Explained exactly what the treatment would cost before starting. No surprise bill at the end, which is rarer than it should be.”

Priya S. · Marlow Bottom|January 2026

A hello from Dr Anna Whitfield

I set up Riverbank in 2009 because I wanted to run the kind of practice I'd want to be a patient at. Time to listen, no upselling, and a team that remembers you between visits.

A good chunk of the people we look after came to us nervous, having not been to a dentist in years. There's no judgement here, ever. We'll go at whatever pace feels right and get you back on top of things gently.

Marcus does most of our root canals and crowns, and has a way of talking through a treatment plan that makes it sound like rather less than you feared.

Kirsty has been here since the week we opened. If your gums bleed when you brush, she is the one you want to see about it.

Dee runs the diary, the plan payments and the reminders. She is the voice on the phone, and she will know your name by the second call.

Questions we get asked most

Are you taking on new NHS patients?

Not at the moment, and we would rather say so plainly than keep you on a list for two years. We are a private practice, our Marlow fees are published in full on the Fees page, and there is a monthly plan at £18 if you would rather spread it.

What happens at a first appointment?

A full examination, X-rays if you need them, a look at your gums, and a written treatment plan with costs before anything is booked. It takes about 40 minutes and costs £75 at Marlow.

I am genuinely frightened of the dentist. Can you help?

Yes, and you are in good company: it is the single most common thing people tell us on the phone. Say so when you book and we will give you a longer appointment, talk through everything before we do it, and stop the moment you ask.

Do you see children?

We do, from their first tooth. A child check-up is £28, and children under 12 are seen free of charge when a parent is registered with the practice.

Can I switch between your two practices?

Yes. Your records are shared across Marlow and Henley-on-Thames, so you can book at whichever is easier to get to on the day. Fees differ a little between the two, and both lists are published in full.

What if something happens out of hours?

Registered patients can call 01628 555 210 and follow the emergency prompt. We keep same-day slots back every morning at both practices for exactly this.

Riverbank Dental Marlow

Two practices, one team. Your records follow you, so you can book at whichever is easier to get to.
