Getting the size right
Everything runs XS to XXL, is cut the same on everybody, and is washed and pre-shrunk before it leaves Nottingham, so the size you buy is the size you keep. The numbers below are your own measurements rather than the garment's.

The table
Both units in every row. This is a British shop, half its customers measure a chest in inches and the other half own a metric tape, and a unit toggle is a control to find before you can read the number you came for.

Where to put the tape
- Chest.
- Under the arms, around the fullest part, tape level and not pulled tight.
- Waist.
- Around the narrowest part of your middle, usually just above the navel.
- Hip.
- Around the fullest part, with your feet together.
How much room each cut has
The figure is how much bigger the finished garment is than the body measurement it is sized on. It is the difference between a tee and a camp collar shirt in the same size, and it is why one of them looks boxy on you and the other does not.

Between two sizes, take the smaller one. Everything here has room built into it already and the smaller of two will not swim on you.

Ring the shop on 01227 960148 and somebody will go and measure a rail for you, or come to Harbour Street and try the lot on. Failing both, order two sizes: you have sixty days and we pay for the label back.
