A heavy rib with a collar that folds over on itself and stays folded. Corozo buttons, which are cut from a nut rather than moulded from plastic and go a shade darker with handling. The thing to put on indoors in February and forget you are wearing.

How it is cut

14cm over the chest so it hangs open properly. Buttoned up it will still close on a size down, if you want it closer.

Model is 5ft 7 with a 36in chest, wearing a XS.

Where to put the tape

Chest.
Under the arms, around the fullest part, tape level and not pulled tight.
Waist.
Around the narrowest part of your middle, usually just above the navel.
Hip.
Around the fullest part, with your feet together.
